This Christmas, we’re giving you the chance to win a fully-funded place on the Help to Grow Management Course, delivered by Salford Business School, part of the University of Salford.

Help to Grow - Management Course

What is Help to Grow?

  • A government-backed program delivered by a selected consortium of leading UK chartered business schools.
  • Targeted at senior SME business professionals and leaders.
  • Aimed at delivering real bottom-line results by increasing productivity and optimising business processes.
  • Delivered by experienced entrepreneurs, business consultants and Salford Business School’s faculty.

Eligibility requirements:

  1. Be part of a small to medium size business based in the UK (between 5 and 249 employees).
  2. Have been operational for at least 1 year.
  3. Be a decision-maker and/or manage people.
  4. Not be a charity.
  5. Be available 1 morning every week via video call and attend an on-campus workshop every month at Salford Business School.

Program Overview:

  • 50 hours over 12 weeks – Slotted into 1 morning per week for busy schedules.
  • 10 hours of one-to-one support from a mentor.
  • 8 facilitated online 2-hour sessions.
  • 4 practical and interactive in-person case-study workshops.
  • Peer-to-peer learning sets – share ideas and best practices with other sectors.
  • Holistic perspective across different business areas with tools to take away and apply.

Key outcomes:

  1. Create a growth plan tailored to your company.
  2. Identify areas to make changes with a large impact.
  3. Exchange best practices and ideas with other senior business leaders.
  4. Boost innovation within your company.
  5. Refresh and acquire new management skills and techniques.
  6. Address issues and create solutions unique to your business and industry.
  7. Learn from other industry sectors.
  8. Take a step into the wider university enterprise ecosystem.

The course onboarding session commences on Wednesday, 4th January 2023, 9:30 am-10:30 am.
