We’re delighted that our CEO Arjen Cooper-Rolfe is a newly appointed honorary fellow of Salford Business School. Arjen gave the keynote speech at the high-profile launch of the school’s Centre for Sustainable Innovation in Manchester (on 25 January).
The event also marked the public reveal of The Book of Involvement, the full story of our 10-year transformation into a model sustainable business for our times.
Associate Dean Dr Francine Morris said: “We are very proud that Arjen is an honorary industry fellow here at Salford Business School. Arjen is an inspirational leader and he’s an ideal keynote for the launch of the centre because his work is all about his commitment to transformation and innovation. I bet after this you will be devouring the Book of Involvement and sharing it with others.”
Based in the Maxwell Building on the University of Salford’s Peel Park campus, the CSI aims to bring together the worlds of academia and business, focusing on three key areas:
- Sustainability.
- Change Management
- Digital Transformation
Sara Boswell, Director of the Centre for Sustainable Innovation, commented: “It’s a really special day for Salford Business School as we launch the CSI, an opportunity for us to link even more closely with business leaders across all industries.”
Tom Stannard, Chief Executive at Salford City Council, added: “The University of Salford has long been a key driver of growth in our city, and the new Centre for Sustainable Innovation will undoubtably provide further opportunities for our local business leaders to tackle new challenges and ensure a robust and prosperous future.”
